Cowboys Defensive Lineman Marshawn Kneeland Dies at Age 24

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland has passed away at the age of 24.
Kneeland was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round in 2024 and appeared in 18 games for the team, with four starting appearances.
He recorded his initial touchdown in Tuesday's defeat to the Arizona Cardinals when he retrieved a blocked punt.
"Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organisation," the Dallas Cowboys stated.
"Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his partner Catalina and his family."
Kneeland was picked by the Cowboys with the 56th overall pick of the 2024 draft after playing college football for Western Michigan.
His representative, Jonathan Perzley, said his "heart breaks" for the loss of the athlete who "gave his all" into each opportunity.
"I watched him fight his way from a hopeful kid at Western Michigan with a dream to being a esteemed pro for the Dallas Cowboys," Perzley commented.
The NFL said it is "deeply saddened" by the news.
