Actor Rejects Anti-Vaccine Views Following Voicing Controversial Coronavirus Film

The "Taken" star has lent his vocal talents to a new documentary that questions the efficacy of vaccines and commends one-time cabinet secretary RFK Jr.

The Documentary's Provocative Basis

Called "Plague of Corruption," the film is based on a bestselling book written by a controversial scientist, who rose to infamy during the pandemic for allegations that Covid was caused by a faulty batch of the influenza shot.

Her writing partner, the executive producer, has previously authored books with conspiracy-prone figure a known commentator. The producer recently posted praising Neeson's involvement in the film.

An Unequivocal Rebuttal

A spokesperson for Liam Neeson have provided a response firmly refuting implications that he supports anti-vax beliefs.

"We all acknowledge that corruption can exist within the drug industry, but that must not be confused with rejection of vaccines," the comment reads. "He is not, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His considerable work with Unicef underscores his enduring support for global immunisation initiatives."

The statement noted that the actor was not involved in crafting the film's narrative and that questions about its assertions are best addressed to the producers.

Major Claims Within the Feature

In the film, the narration read by Neeson includes several strong claims:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have called for "blind obedience" to health authorities.
  • It posits that "medical science has become dangerously politicized."
  • Kennedy is shown saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they simply are not properly vetted."
  • It further attacks Covid lockdowns, saying they caused mental anguish that cost thousands of lives.
  • Concerning Covid vaccines, it mentions a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Past Context and Current Issues

The documentary includes a 2004 BBC documentary about AIDS medication trials on children, which was afterwards the topic of a formal apology by the broadcaster for violations of guidelines.

Last month, RFK Jr directed the CDC to revise its official position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism. This assertion is echoed in the documentary, contrary to a recent study from the WHO confirming no connection has been found.

An Earlier Record of Advocacy

Differing from the film's tone, Neeson has previously voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his role as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "a remarkable triumph," noting that "The discourse about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in our history."

"Plague of Corruption" concludes with Neeson's voice proclaiming, "This isn't the finish of our story. Rather, it is the start of a fresh chapter."
